Morgan Wallen has been wowing the crowds during his 2025 I’m The Problem Tour—but he’s now paying a hefty price.
On Friday, August 22, the country hitmaker proved he could play until he had nothin’ left at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with his show going past the town’s 11:30 p.m. curfew.
The town confirmed that Wallen, 32, violated the rule and will be fined $0.25 per concertgoer—which totaled $15,705— the Boston Herald reported.
“The Morgan Wallen concert on Friday night is being fined for exceeding the curfew, and his team is aware of this,” a Foxborough spokesperson said in a statement, per the outlet.
“The curfew was set for 11:30 p.m., but the last song began at 11:44 p.m.— 14 minutes past the cutoff,” the spokesperson continued, in part.
Although hefty, it is unlikely that the fine will have a significant impact on the megastar’s massive fortune, which stands at $35 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Fans React to the Fine
When Instagram account @morgan_wallen_newsposted about the fine, many fans defended the “Eyes Are Closed” singer in the comments.
“15,000? That’s pocket change to MW!! This man can snub the Grammys and Foxboro!” one fan wrote, also praising Wallen’s decisionnot to submit his music to the 2026 Grammy Awards.
“This is pocket change to him. He didn’t start playing until 9:40 p.m. Gillette has always had a curfew. Concert was amazinggggg,” another said.
“Seriously? That’s what they do to artist[s] that give the people what they want?? By 14 minutes? That is so weak Boston!” a third commented.
I’m The Problem Tour Future Shows
Wallen has four stops left on his I’m The Problem Tour.
The Tennessee native is set to perform in Toronto, Ontario on September 4 and 5, before heading to Edmonton, Alberta on September 12 and concluding the hugely successful tour on September 13.
In addition to his show on August 22, Wallen also played at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, August 23.
The “June In Case” singer surprised concertgoers as he walked outwith Mike Vrabel, the head coach of the New England Patriots, on Friday, followed by Patriots icon Rob Gronkowski on Saturday.
