Morley Library, at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1, will host presenter Julie Koenig for a discussion of British royal traditions such as the King’s Speech, Christmas at Sandringham, tree trimming, and royal gift giving, along with traditions popular on both sides of the pond thanks to Queen Victoria & Prince Albert.
Attendees can sample a homemade mince pie and wear a festive paper crown to celebrate the spirit of the season in royal style, according to a news release.

British-born Koenig is a keen observer and lifelong student of the British monarchy, the release stated. She is well-versed in the colorful history and traditions of the British royal family.
