Rumors surfaced that Taylor Frankie Paul’s ex, Dakota Mortensen, allegedly sexted one of her family friends in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 3. After Mortensen posted a TikTok to defend himself, the cast quickly rallied behind Paul in the comments.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars rallied in support of Taylor Frankie Paul after reports surfaced that Dakota Mortensen had allegedly been sexting one of Paul’s mother’s friends.
“You’re looking real brave since Taylor doesn’t have access to her phone to clap back,” Layla Taylor said in defense of her co-star. “One more time for you, since you have a hard time comprehending, it’s not what you did, it’s WHO it was with.”
Mortensen responded, saying, “Hey, remember how I’ve been labeled a cheater for 3 years when I’ve never cheated? You’re basing it off one incident. Sorry also isn’t okay, and I have every right to defend that. We all know who is really afraid of Tay.”
The support for Paul comes after Mortensen posted a TikTok in which he lip-synced to the iconic Friends line “We were on a break.” He captioned the video: “Also never touched another woman ever.” (via Cosmopolitan)
The video clearly didn’t sit with the rest of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast members as well. Other MomTok members quickly joined in to defend Paul, who is currently busy filming The Bachelorette Season 22.
Mayci Neeley responded to the clip. “*We were on a break, so I tried to hookup with someone Taylor considered a family member,*” she wrote, mockingly. “DAKOTA, this is when you take the L and apologize, not double down.”
Mortensen pushed back, commenting, “Ha, wait, I never tried to hook up with anyone. Sometimes I wish you guys would actually come to me for my side. I think it’s the most frustrating part about all this.”
Then a third cast member, Mikayla Matthews, added, “Oh, you were on a break? That makes things SOOO much better.’ Mortensen replied, “You know she broke up with me.. ha don’t play that.”
