Most Anticipated Shows Of 2026: ‘Euphoria,’ ‘The Pitt’ & More

Every year, it gets harder and harder to keep up with the overwhelming number of television shows being released at what feels like a near-daily rate. Judging by what’s already been announced for 2026, it may just be a repeat of the same. Still, there are a handful of series worth anticipating, and celebrity.land’s Culture Team did the honors of rounding them up for you.

Of course, there are new seasons of some returning favorites, like “Euphoria,” “The Pitt,” “The Traitors,” “Bridgerton” and “Industry” — and that’s just in the first half of the year. There are plenty of brand-new shows to get amped about as well, including a reboot of “Scrubs,” prequels for “Game of Thrones,” “Power” and “Legally Blonde” and even the long-awaited “Lanterns” series, based on the DC comic.

There are two sides to one incredibly twisted story in Netflix’s “His & Hers.” In the suspenseful six-episode series, after a body is discovered in a sleepy Georgia town, two estranged spouses — one a reporter (Tessa Thompson) and the other a lead detective (Jon Bernthal) — search for the truth in a murder case in which each believes the other is a prime suspect. The show also stars Pablo Schreiber, Crystal Fox, Sunita Mani, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Marin Ireland and Poppy Liu. — Njera

The best medical drama of the year is back for another chaotic shift in the Pittsburgh ER. Season 2 of “The Pitt” takes place on the Fourth of July, once again tackling the realistic challenges of the American health care system, with some new faces joining the fight — like Dr. Robby’s (Noah Wyle) replacement, Dr. Al-Hashimi (Sepideh Moafi). Others in the cast include Patrick Ball, Katherine LaNasa, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell and Shabana Azeez. — Njera

Our favorite back-stabbing TV series is returning to Peacock right at the top of the year. The cast for Season 4 is stacked, including Candiace Dillard-Bassett, Colton Underwood, Dorinda Medley, Kristen Kish, Monét X Change and Porsha Williams. Of course, Alan Cumming is returning as host. — Erin

At last, “Industry” is returning to HBO for Season 4. Here’s this season’s logline: “At the top of their game and living the lives they set out to have as Pierpoint grads, Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Marisa Abela) are drawn into a high-stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene. As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington) and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella), their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top.” — Erin

A century before the events of “Game of Thrones” comes a tale about the adventures of two unlikely heroes. In this HBO prequel, “set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends,” the show’s logline states. The cast is led by Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell, along with Daniel Ings, Bertie Carvel, Danny Webb, Sam Spruell, Shaun Thomas, Finn Bennett, Edward Ashley, Tanzyn Crawford, Henry Ashton, Youssef Kerkour, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor and Daniel Monks. — Njera

Patrick Dempsey is making his return to broadcast television with “Memory of a Killer.” The Fox thriller centers on Angelo Ledda (Dempsey), “a hitman leading a dangerous double life while hiding an even deadlier personal secret: that he has developed early onset Alzheimer’s,” TV Insider reported. It also stars Michael Imperioli, Richard Harmon, Odeya Rush, Daniel David Stewart, Peter Gadlot and Gina Torres. — Erin

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II stars in “Wonder Man,” Marvel’s upcoming eight-episode TV series, alongside Ben Kingsley, Arian Moayed and X Mayo. The Disney+ series centers on Simon Williams (Abdul-Mateen II) as an aspiring actor who auditions for a legendary director remaking a superhero film. Trevor Slattery (Kingsley), a veteran actor, also pursues the role while “audiences get a peek behind the curtain of the entertainment industry,” according to its logline. — Erin

Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams and the rest of the crew from Apple TV’s “Shrinking,” the comedy-drama about grief, coping and forgiveness, are returning for a third season of the Emmy Award-nominated series. Bill Lawrence, the show’s co-creator, said Season 3 is focused on moving forward. — Erin

The second Bridgerton son, Benedict (Luke Thompson), is set to meet his love match in Season 4 of Netflix’s hit series “Bridgerton.” The season will roll out in two parts on Netflix: Part 1 streams on Jan. 29 and Part 2 streams on Feb. 26. The fourth installment of the series is based on author Julia Quinn’s third novel in the “Bridgerton” series, “An Offer From A Gentleman.” The cast includes Yerin Ha, Jonathan Bailey, Victor Alli, Adjoa Andoh, Simone Ashley, Nicola Coughlan and of course, the voice of Julie Andrews as Lady Whistledown. — Erin

“The ’Burbs” stars Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall, Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch and Kapil Talwalkar. The eight-episode mystery comedy series is based on the 1989 film of the same name. The show, according to Peacock’s logline, “follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.” — Erin

Detective Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge) is back on the case in Season 2, as he tracks down another serial killer on the loose. This time, the gripping Prime Video crime thriller, based on James Patterson’s best-selling book series, sees the titular forensic psychologist hunting down a ruthless vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire tycoons. New faces joining the cast include Matthew Lillard, Jeanine Mason and Wes Chatham, while Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Juanita Jennings, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd and Johnny Ray Gill all return. — Njera

Tracy Morgan is, once again, in his leading comedy bag as the title character of NBC’s “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.” The new series, which marks Morgan’s reunion with his “30 Rock” collaborator Tina Fey, centers on a disgraced former football player (Morgan) on a mission to restore his public image with help from an award-winning filmmaker (Daniel Radcliffe). Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way and Jalyn Hall also star in the half-hour comedy. — Njera

Hulu’s “Paradise” is going way beyond the bunker in Season 2. Last season’s explosive finale exposed an outside world holding untold secrets, and now Xavier (Sterling K. Brown) is determined to uncover them amid his search for his long-lost wife, Teri (Enuka Okuma). But as his quest reveals new alliances and potential threats, a new regime is emerging inside the bunker, too, according to the season’s logline. The cast also includes Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Krys Marshall, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Charlie Evans, plus recurring guest stars James Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty and Jon Beavers. — Njera

Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke are all returning to Sacred Heart in the revival of “Scrubs,” 15 years after the original series ended. “JD (Braff) & Turk (Faison) scrub in together for the first time in a long time — medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way,” the official ABC logline reads, according to Variety. — Erin

Taylor Frankie Paul, one of the stars of Hulu’s “The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives,” will star in the 22nd season of “The Bachelorette” on ABC. Paul will likely be a fun and feisty bachelorette since she’s never been afraid to speak her mind on “Mormon Wives” and within that MomTok online community. Here’s hoping she’ll find the love that she deserves. — Erin

The final season of Prime Video’s “The Boys” is almost upon us, and according to what’s been teased, it plans on going out with a bang. In Season 5, “it’s Homelander’s (Antony Starr) world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims,” the show’s logline reads. “Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso) and Frenchie (Tomer Capone) are imprisoned in a ‘Freedom Camp.’ Annie (Erin Moriarty) struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher (Karl Urban) reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it.” — Njera

After four long years, HBO’s “Euphoria” is finally making its return, and with lots of big changes for the all-grown-up high school crew. According to Variety, creator Sam Levinson has shared that the much-anticipated third season of his teen drama features a five-year time jump, with Rue south of the Mexican border, trying to find creative ways to pay off her debt to Laurie. Meanwhile, Nate and a social media-addicted Cassie are engaged and living in the suburbs, the latter envious of their former classmates, who appear to be off living “big lives” now. And everyone else has their own hustles: Jules in art school, pursuing a career as a painter; Maddy in Hollywood working at a talent agency, along with a few side gigs; and Lexi as an assistant to an “icon” of a showrunner. There are lots of new faces joining Season 3, too, including Rosalía, Sharon Stone, Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth and Marshawn Lynch. — Njera

The third highly anticipated season of HBO’s “House of the Dragon” is on the way. Although plot details are still unknown, the Season 2 finale of the series, which is based on George R. R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” ended with the lead-up to one of the book’s biggest battles. So far, the returning Season 3 cast has been confirmed: Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Gayle Rankin and Abubakar Salim. Reese Witherspoon is giving us a dose of “Legally Blonde” nostalgia with a prequel that will finally introduce us to the life of teenage Elle Woods in Prime Video’s “Elle.” Set in the ’90s, the series (also produced by Witherspoon) will follow Elle (Lexi Minetree) during her high school years “as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first ‘Legally Blonde’ film,” the logline reads, per Variety. — Njera

Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre will star as Hal Jordan and John Stewart, respectively, on HBO’s upcoming “Green Lantern” TV series, “Lanterns.” Jordan and Stewart are investigating a murder in Nebraska and end up uncovering dark mysteries. Kelly Macdonald and Nathan Fillion are also starring. — Erin

After a brief hiatus, Ryan Murphy’s spooky “American Horror Story” series is returning for another season on FX, reuniting a ton of cast favorites. The theme of the upcoming season has not yet been revealed, but it will star Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Jessica Lange and Ariana Grande, who appeared in Murphy’s Fox slasher show “Scream Queens.” — Njera

The Power Universe is going back in time again to introduce us to the duo at the center of Starz’s iconic crime drama that started it all. “Power: Origins” focuses on a young Ghost (Spence Moore), Tommy (Charlie Mann) and Kanan (Mekai Curtis), a trio of ambitious street entrepreneurs on the rise, determined to make their mark in the New York City drug game. The 18-episode prequel also stars Jason Dirden, Jennifer Ferrin, Lizzy DeClement, Lenny Platt, Armani Gabriel and Everett Osborne. — Njera

The Franklin Saint-era of “Snowfall” may be over, but the story continues in an untitled FX spinoff starring Gail Bean and Isaiah John’s characters, Wanda and Leon, respectively. Set in 1990s Los Angeles, the forthcoming series follows a recovering addict who strives to take the West Coast rap game mainstream amid gang wars, while record labels plot to exploit hip-hop culture for their own gain, a description states, per Deadline. The cast also includes Asante Blackk, Peyton Alex Smith and Simmie Sims III. — Njera

Season 3 of “Interview With The Vampire” is titled “The Vampire Lestat,” and it follows Anne Rice’s second novel in The Vampire Chronicles. The AMC series will focus on Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid) as “Reid’s character becomes a rock star and tries to reclaim his story from the way Louis (Jacob Anderson) told it” in Season 2, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles and Assad Zaman are all returning to the series. New additions to the cast include Jennifer Ehle, Ella Ballentine, Jeanine Serralles, Christopher Heyerdahl and Damien Atkins. — Erin
