Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice on Substack and The Mirror reported that Princess Beatrice and her sister will skip the Easter gathering this Sunday. Meanwhile, a friend of Beatrice’s spoke to Hello! Magazine about how she is handling the attention, claiming, “Bea has found the scrutiny very hard, especially the strain of the past few weeks,” adding, “Bea is keeping calm and carrying on. She learnt a lot from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.”
Beatrice’s friend added, “This is a family in turmoil, but Bea is working hard; the juggle of full-time work and being a parent is her main priority, in order to keep herself mentally strong and her life moving.”
The sisters have reportedly faced a lot of pressure in recent weeks after appearing in the latest tranche of controversies. At the same time, a royal source told Shuter that the sisters’ absence “wasn’t optional.” They added, “It was decided for them.”
Furthermore, Shuter quoted an insider claiming, “William is tightening the circle,” and adding, “It’s about protecting the brand,” while going as far as to claim, “This wasn’t about Easter, it was about control.”
