Movies and TV Shows Coming to Netflix in September 2025

The TV shows and movies coming to Netflix this September include a wide range of family-oriented comedies, two different Pokemon series, and the final episodes of Wednesday Season 2 (as a prelude to and/or kickoff for spooky season).

The original Paddington, as well as all four Shrek movies, will begin streaming Sept. 1st, while superhero fans can also enjoy both of Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man films, while lovers of Spike Lee can relax with Inside Man, his blockbuster heist team-up with Denzel Washington.

In terms of true stories, Charlie Sheen will address his legacy in the documentary aka Charlie Sheen, while the family behind the famous brewery sees its history told in the new series House of Guinness. Comedian Mae Martin also spearheads an original horror series entitled Wayward, while Will Forte leads the voice cast of the animated comedy Haunted Hotel.

For those who like AMC shows but have no interest in subscribing to AMC+, the good news is that the second season of Interview With the Vampire will be available on Netflix at the end of the month, and additionally the sci-fi favorite Orphan Black will begin streaming on Sept. 1st.
