MrBeast teased the upcoming Season 2 of Beast Games, the Prime Video reality competition series, as fans await its release date. The new installment follows the record-breaking success of Season 1, which drew more than 50 million viewers worldwide.
MrBeast shares new photo as Beast Games Season 2 wraps filming
MrBeast shared a new photo and wrote in his caption, “Beast Games Season 2 wrapped filming!!! We gathered the strongest and the smartest people on earth to compete for $5,000,000! I’M SO EXCITED SEASON 2 IS 10X BETTER THAN SEASON 1 :D.”
The Prime Video reality competition series first launched with 1,000 players in Season 1. The advertised $5 million prize pool was doubled to $10 million in the finale. That installment drew more than 50 million viewers in its first 25 days and ranked No. 1 on the platform in over 80 countries. MrBeast also said he gave away more than $25 million in total during the debut season.
Season 2 introduces contestants labeled as “the strongest” and “the smartest,” according to promotional material and Donaldson’s announcement. The format tests physical strength, intelligence, and social strategy. While producers have not revealed the official lineup, casting materials show that they recruited competitors from specific categories instead of selecting them at random.
In May 2025, Amazon confirmed the renewal of Beast Games for two additional seasons after Season 1 delivered record-breaking results. During its upfront presentation, the company highlighted the show as a major driver of advertiser demand.
Sean Klitzner, Tyler Conklin, and Mack Hopkins co-created the series. Klitzner and Matt Apps serve as showrunners and executive producers along with Donaldson, Michael Cruz, Jeff Housenbold, Conklin, Michael Miller, Josh Kulic, and Chris Keiper. Conklin will also return as director for the new season.
Prime Video has not yet announced an official release date for Season 2.
