Brevard Zoo, 8225 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, hosts the all-inclusive music and food festival Jazzoo on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 7 to 11 p.m. Headliner Amanda Shaw & The Cute Guys will return to one of seven Jazzoo stages along with Nashville singers-songwriters 3-Peace, Felix & The Fingers Dueling Pianos, Carl Lewis & iNtenisty, and roaming violinist Dave String. Tickets include concerts and food and drink stations. VIP ticketholders receive special perks, including early entrance into the event at 6 p.m., reserved premium parking on zoo grounds, and entry into the Premium Club with their own seating, music, full open top-shelf bar and exclusive bites from local restaurants. 2. ‘Hotel California’ at the King Center

Hotel California will give a  “A Salute to the Eagles” concert at the King Center, 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, on Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. The most successful and longest running show of its kind, Hotel California “A Salute to the Eagles”, is the only show to have ever received “official authorization” to perform the Eagles catalog of music. 3. ‘Lights On: A Nighttime Art Experience’ at Brevard Zoo

Brevard Zoo, 8225 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, hosts a one-of-a-kind nighttime animal art experience. “Lights On: A Nighttime Art Experience” will run on select Thursdays to Sundays from Nov. 13 through Jan. 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event promises to take guests on an immersive journey featuring two elaborate art exhibitions located throughout the park combined with digital and virtual reality experiences, all set against an outdoor natural Florida backdrop with special lighting effects. 4. John DePaola Quintet on Merritt Island

The Space Coast Jazz Society presents the John DePaola Quintet in concert at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center, Gray Hall, 400 S. Sykes Creek Pkwy., Merritt Island, on Sunday, Nov. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. John DePaola has been a full-time freelance trumpeter for over 30 years. He lives in Orlando, FL, where he has been a musician at Walt Disney World and a Rosie O’Grady’s Goodtime Jazz Band member. 5. Dorian Wind Quartet concert in Indialantic

St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 2030 N. A1A, Indialantic, hosts the Dorian Wind Quartet at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7. The program will include the music of Pauline Hall, Carl Nielsen, Mozart, and Johan Kvandal. Tickets are $35 for adults and $10 for students. 6. Space Coast State Fair in Viera

The Space Coast State Fair continues through Nov. 16 at Space Coast Daily Park, 5775 Stadium Pkwy., Viera. In addition to the thrill rides, games and midway fun, the fair also includes animal shows, professional bull riding and more. Admission is $10, or free for kids shorter than 36 inches or seniors ages 65 and older. Ticket add-ons are available for unlimited rides (start at $25) and fast passes ($10). The Conradina Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society hosts the 15th annual Landscaping with Florida Natives tour on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The focus this year is on homes in south Melbourne and Palm Bay and one public space for you to tour and learn about Florida native plants. Native plants are important to preserve our wildlife, pollinators and local heritage as well as requiring much less maintenance, water, and fertilizer, which benefits our local environment and the Indian River Lagoon. 8. Live theater around Brevard

  • ‘Dial M for Murder’: The thriller “Dial M for Murder” will be at Melbourne Civic Theatre (MCT), 817 E. Strawbridge Ave., Melbourne, through Nov. 9. In the play, Tony is convinced that his wife Margot has been cheating on him. In his jealousy Tony spins a web of suspicion and deception that will tighten around them. Tickets are $35.   • ‘Villainous Divas’: The show “Villainous Divas” is Upstairs at the Henegar Center, 625 E. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, through Nov. 9. Perfect for the fall and Halloween season, see what happens when some of your favorite Broadway, film, and animated villains come together to take back the night. Tickets are $40.
