ST. LOUIS—The fifth annual Music at the Intersection, known as MATI, festival announced the full schedule and map Thursday, adding an additional day and stage.
MATI begins Friday, Sept. 12, with an entrepreneurship conference, followed by performances by the Saint Boogie Brass Band and more artists. On Saturday, Grammy Award-winning rapper Common and Pete Rock will headline the Field Stage. The festival ends Sunday with performances by legendary R&B singer and actress Patti LaBelle, Leon Thomas and hip-hop pioneers De La Soul.
This year’s Midtown festival includes a fourth main stage at Sophie’s Artist Lounge and an extended conference. Attendees can speak with a panel of artists about the industry, music production and promotion strategy.
Tickets are available online, starting at $60 for a day pass or $150 for a weekend pass. Organizers say $10 from every pass will fund tornado relief efforts.
