CLEVELAND, Ohio – The long-running Cleveland Shakespeare Festival and Music Box Supper Club are teaming up to present Shakespeare’s Greatest Hits.
The show will feature scenes from Shakespeare’s greatest plays. From Romeo and Juliet’s balcony scene to (spoiler alert) Macbeth’s murder and more, the intimate, cabaret-style performance will feature comedic, dramatic and action-packed moments – including sword fights.
Tickets for the show are on sale with four dates set in 2026; all are Thursdays:
• Jan. 15
• Feb. 19
• March 19
• April 23
Doors open at 6 p.m. Shows will start at 7:30 p.m.
Plays to be represented:
• “Romeo and Juliet”
• “Macbeth”
• “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
• “Hamlet”
• “King Lear”
• “Tempest”
• “As You Like It”
• “Twelfth Night”
• “Julius Caesar”
Mike Miller of the Music Box said in a press release he’s “thrilled” to add the Shakespearean production, which fits in with the other programs the venue offers, like Cleveland Stories Dinner Parties, tropical Cleveland, magic shows and drag brunches.
“Our focus at the Music Box has always been to try new ideas that expand beyond the concerts we present,” he said.
Founded in 1977, the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival has been dedicated to bringing the playwright’s timeless works to life for audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The festival has performed in parks and public spaces throughout Greater Cleveland with the mission to make Shakespeare accessible, engaging and relevant.
