Illinois State University’s Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts and the School of Music are excited to bring the sounds of the holidays to the Center for the Performing Arts in three concerts December 6 and 7.

On Saturday, December 6, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., the Illinois State University Symphony Orchestra, Civic Chorale, and Treble Choir join forces to perform two concerts of holiday classics including selections from the Nutcracker, Sleigh Ride, and a carol sing-along. The 3 p.m. matinee will also feature students in the String Project. The 7 p.m. performance includes the ISU Philharmonia Orchestra.

On Sunday, December 7, at 3 p.m., 150 combined voices from Concert Choir, Belle Voix, and University Glee will present a heartwarming program of choral music with holiday songs from around the world, classic carol sing-alongs, and a stunning performance of John Rutter’s Gloria.

All concerts will take place in the Center for the Performing Arts (CPA) Concert Hall. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $16 for seniors, and $12 for Illinois State University students, faculty, and staff.

Saturday, December 6, at 3 p.m. featuring Illinois State University Symphony Orchestra, Civic Chorale, Treble Choir, and String Project.

Saturday, December 6, at 7 p.m. featuring Illinois State University Symphony Orchestra, Civic Chorale, Treble Choir, and ISU Philharmonic Orchestra.

Sunday, December 7, at 3 p.m. featuring Concert Choir, Belle Voix, and University Glee.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Center for the Performing Arts Box Office on the campus of Illinois State University, by phone at (309) 438-2535, or on the box office website.
