Nancy Guthrie sheriff makes shock admission about past job – Celebrity News – Entertainment

Chris Nanos has broken his silence on the claims of his past job experience.

The search continues for Savannah Guthrie‘s 84-year-old mother Nancy, who went missing from her home just north of Tucson, Arizona on February 1. She was last seen at the property at around 9:30 p.m on January 31 and was reported missing the next day.

The local community remains frustrated with the investigation, causing questions to be asked about the man in charge of the case. After news broke that he was previously suspended eight times, Sheriff Chris Nanos spoke for himself and revealed the hard truths regarding his past experience in the field.

Through his attorney James Cool, Nanos has admitted to resigning from the El Paso Police Department in 1982 in an attempt to avoid a three-day suspension for insubordination.

His revelation comes just weeks after he stated under oath during his First Amendment lawsuit that he had never been suspended as a result of disciplinary action while working as a law enforcement officer.

Savannah and the rest of her family first learned Nancy was missing on February 1, when she failed to attend her local mass. Shortly after that, the Pima County Sheriff’s office deemed her home a “crime scene” after discovering concerning evidence inside the property.

Sheriff Nanos admitted, “We do believe that Nancy was taken from her home against her will, and that’s where we’re at.”

Despite his team’s findings, he returned the home back to the Guthrie family just two days after the abduction.

A day after his admission, the property was sealed off by the FBI. However, the scene was already encountered by several reporters who walked up Nancy’s front door and took video of blood spatters on the porch.

Nanos later said he “probably would have” kept the scene more secure if he could redo the investigation.
