New images released by authorities have unveiled a terrifying new glimpse at the scene at Nancy Guthrie’s home the night she disappeared, with her blood seen on the ground near her front door after a person of interest disconnected her doorbell camera.
However, the release of the images has also led to the harrowing reveal of blood droplets on the porch of Guthrie’s home, which has previously been revealed by authorities early in the investigation.
Now, in the new images, obtained by Fox News Digital, blood is seen on the ground near the front entrance to her home with a trail going from the entrance to the edge of the driveway.
The blood has been confirmed as belonging to Guthrie, and law enforcement has not released details about the extent of any injuries or whether the evidence is connected to the masked individual seen in the newly released footage.
In the images, a figure is seen wearing a skit mask, black gloves, khaki pants, and a jacket, with a backpack on their shoulders. They can be seen trying to remove the Next camera from her door.
It is believed the potential suspect also appears to be armed.
The Nest camera was reported disconnected at 1:47 a.m. and footage was not previously available because Guthrie did not pay for a subscription service to retain the footage captured by the camera.
Taking to Facebook, she wrote, “Someone out there recognizes this person. We believe she is still out there. Bring her home. Anyone with information, please contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department 520-351-4900.
Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her Tucson, Arizona, home the night of January 31, after being dropped back at the property following a dinner with family members.
She was reported missing the next day after failing to attend a church service.
Savanah has stepped away from her job as a co-host of NBC’s The Today Show while the search continues for her mother. While the search has entered its tenth day, and early warnings said that Nancy needed daily medication or could die, authorities and her family have all maintained they feel she is still alive.
