Naomi Watts celebrated three years of marriage with Billy Crudup by sharing a new wedding photo on Instagram

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup are celebrating three years of marriage!
The couple, both 57, initially wed in a New York City courthouse in June 2023 and had a second ceremony in Mexico in June 2024. Watts marked the third anniversary of their first ceremony by sharing a photo from their special day on Instagram on Tuesday, June 9.
“Happy Anniversary my love ♥️,” the actress captioned a photo of herself and Crudup sitting outside together on a wooden bench.
In the photo, the pair smiled warmly, with Watts leaning her head on Crudup’s shoulder and his arm resting behind her. The Love Story star carried a bouquet of white flowers and wore a white lace Oscar de la Renta dress while her husband opted for a navy blue suit.
Many celebrities, including Sharon Stone, Niecy Nash-Betts and Andy Cohen, left congratulatory comments and wished the couple a happy anniversary.
Watts reshared her post on her Instagram Stories, alongside more wedding photos with Crudup.
Watts opened up about her New York City wedding and married life in January 2024, sharing on Live with Kelly and Mark, “It’s never too late, right? We found each other later than… yeah, late in life. And it’s really a special thing.”
Watts told Kelly Ripa at the time that when it came to their ceremony, “nothing was planned because we wanted to keep it low-key. I even got my flowers from the bodega at the corner.”
She continued, “I wrapped them in old ribbon. I keep my ribbons for a good reason. Pulled them out of the drawer, made it myself. And then yeah, we ended up finishing the whole ceremony — It’s very quick — and we just called a few friends, randomly, or just spontaneously, and whoever was in town just came and joined us. It was really celebratory and lovely.”

Years before they played husband and wife on the Netflix series Gypsy, Watts and Crudup had their first run-in on Broadway in 2009. A source confirmed to PEOPLE in 2017 that the pair were dating, and they made their first red carpet appearance together at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in February 2022.
Less than two months after sparking engagement rumors, Watts confirmed her marriage to The Morning Show star in an Instagram post captioned “Hitched! 🕊️🪢♥️,” shared in June 2023. Her brother, photographer Ben Watts, announced the news of the couple’s second nuptials in an Instagram post in June 2024.
