Netflix star joins Vanderpump Rules’ new cast amid show’s reboot – Celebrity News – Entertainment

Chris Hahn has left behind Netflix stardom for the drama of Bravo.

The New Jersey native, 31, has been announced as one of the new cast members of the rebooted Vanderpump Rules. Before he makes his on-screen debut as a SUR-ver, fans are looking back at his time on Netflix.

Chris has spent the last three years in the public eye ever since appearing in the hit dating show Dated & Related.

He first appeared on the show in September 2022 alongside his cousin Jason Cohen, who is also joining the new cast of Vanderpump Rules. 

Chris carved out his own reputation, independent of his cousin, in the second season of Perfect Match.

The reality star started off his time on the show pointing out he had “a little bit of an ego.”

“A lot of people play it safe and I like to take risks,” he said. “I think I’m charming and funny. I have a good sense of humor.”

He declared his motto as, “The less f—s you give, the more f—- you get.”

Despite his boastful introduction, Chris was able to find slightly more success in the romance department his second time around on reality television. He was primarily paired with Tolú Ekundare from The Trust. However, once the show ended, things took a turn once she went on the After Curfew podcast and said, “That is over, dead, done.”

It seems to be the perfect time to switch gears and open himself to “larger opportunities” at SUR.

Bravo describes him as a bartender at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant who “moved to the city with a dream of becoming an actor, but pivoted to pursue music and views SUR as a steppingstone to larger opportunities.”

It adds, “Single and mingling, Chris is looking for a partner and a long-term commitment.”

His bio hints at a potential connection with new “girl-next-door” Audrey Trullinger. 

When Chris took to Instagram to announce he was joining Vanderpump Rules, he wrote, “The calm is over. Let the chaos begin.”

Before the show’s 12 season premieres on Dec. 2, the television personality already has a few fans turning against him after he addressed their negative comments about the new cast and their desire for the old cast to return.

On Tiktok, he said, “Of course it’s not going to be the same. These are totally different people. We are not trying to make it the same at all. That wasn’t the plan. 

“I just want to tell y’all to give it a chance before you talk all this s—,” he added. “At least watch it before you talk s—.”
