Each of the four episodes focuses on a different case. Episode one, “She Finally Snapped,” follows Frances as she goes from Shawna and Dave’s houseguest to a paranoid neighbor consumed by grievances and determined to escalate a one-sided feud.
Episode two, “Midwest Meltdown,” transports viewers to a quiet Indiana suburb in 2012. After a massive explosion rocks the neighborhood, investigators begin questioning the motives of neighbor Moncy and her new boyfriend, Mark.
In episode three, “Fear Thy Neighbor,” Miles and Melina think they’ve found their dream home, only to find themselves caught in a nightmare when their former neighbor, Jamal, launches a relentless harassment campaign after being evicted.
The final episode, “The EXECUTOR,” begins when Charles’ neighbors report him missing. Suspicion quickly turns to Caroline, who claims she’s managing his estate while secretly concealing a grisly crime.
