AUSTIN, Texas — The Live Music Capital of the World is getting a new venue in southeast Austin.
City leaders and others gathered at River Park in southeast Austin to celebrate the official groundbreaking of a new 4,000-seat indoor music venue.
The new development of the 65,000 square foot facility will feature luxury suites, artists-first amenities and production-ready spaces, according to the builders.

They also say the new facility is purpose-built for concerts, conferences and private events.
Guests at the groundbreaking include Austin Mayor Kirk Watson and City Council Member Jose Velasquez.
