CHELSEA, Ala. — Valley Post, a new dining and entertainment complex, is rapidly taking shape at the northwest corner of Highway 280 and Dunnavant Valley Road in Chelsea. The City of Chelsea said the new development will be built where the old Treetop Family Adventure was.
The project is a collaboration between Mike Mouron, Capstone Real Estate Development and the Pihakis Restaurant Group. According to developers, the 6-acre development will feature four restaurants, like Rodney Scott’s BBQ, Hero, Little Donkey, and Luca & Lucy. Each restaurant will offer indoor dining and large outdoor patios facing a common green space. This area will include additional tables for eating, drinking, and lounging, with native plantings and winding paths leading to a high-definition viewing screen for sports and special screenings.
A City of Chelsea spokesperson said while no official completion date has been announced, the project is expected to open later this year.
