Cali rockers Queens of the Stone Age recruit Nikki Lane on Easy Street, their first new song since 2023’s In Times New Roman. Eagerly awaited by fans, the track was debuted on the band’s Catacombs tour last year.
On the song, QOTSA’s Josh Homme explains: “Itâs kind of a funny song. Itâs like hitting your funny bone, where itâs funny because it hurts and it hurts because itâs funny. Youâre serious, but itâs funny.
“It’s not just about silliness. Itâs about understanding the imperfection of your life. The song, like your life, is in the mistakes. Its imperfections are unbeatable.”
Ahead of the release of his third solo studio set THRASHER, due August 21, Brandon Flowers takes you to Paradise on his latest cut. Announcing the song on socials, Brandon said: “Back in October â89, Phil Collins took âAnother Day In Paradiseâ from the working man. This Friday the 17th, Iâll be returning it to its rightful owner.”
It’s a huge return for Echo & The Bunnymen, as their new single Brussels Is Haunted follows follows the news that they will release their first album in 12 years, Apples For Isaac.Â
