It’s a Tay Story, baby, just say yes! After weeks of speculation, Taylor Swift unveils her Toy Story 5 soundtrack I Knew It, I Knew You. On the song, Taylor explains: “I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie.

“I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?”

With six UK Number 1 singles already under her belt, can Taylor secure a seventh next week?

DMA’S – aka Aussie trio Tommy, Matt and Johnny – drop Hurracane as the latest single from their upcoming self-titled fifth studio album, coming August 7.

Sam Tompkins follows up recent single Beauty Queen with Body to Body, a track that sees him overcome what he dubs “British guilt” after his dad’s passing. On the tune, Sam says: “It’s a song about trying to find that thing in life that really gets you going. For a long time, I felt like I couldn’t have fun or enjoy myself because it would give me so much guilt. Body to Body in particular is about working through that guilt and really finding a new lust for life.”

Alongside the announcement of his second studio album WILDCHILD, releasing August 28, Alex Warren offers up new track PASSENGER. Meanwhile, Joji joins forces with The Kid LAROI on glitchy pop bop Bluffin’.

FLO – aka Stella, Jorja and RenĂ©e – send a stern warning with new tune Don’t Break Her Heart. It serves as the latest taste of the group’s upcoming second studio album Therapy At The Club, due July 24.

It’s summer, the sun’s (intermittently) out and dance fans are spoilt for choice this week.

After shutting down Times Square with a surprise set in collaboration with Grindr, Madonna drops the latest taste of her Confessions II record, Love Sensation. Elsewhere, New York house legend Roger Sanchez recruits Melanie C on I Don’t Wanna Know, PAWSA guns for 2026’s Song of the Summer with Ride On Me, Nia Archives delivers the drum ‘n’ bass vibes with Vertical and Prospa and KETTAMA Break Free.

They’re Ready To Begin their EP rollout. Fresh from their comeback set at Mighty Hoopla last weekend, Appleton release the second track from their upcoming extended play Side By Side, landing September 4. The project serves as the long-awaited follow-up to Nicole and Natalie Appleton’s 2003 Top 10 debut Everything’s Eventual.

Ahead of their London Emirates Stadium show alongside Boyzone this weekend, denim-clad divas B*Witched are back with brand-new single Firefly.

As she announces her sixth studio record I Know Too Much, expected September 4, Ellie Goulding returns with Black Prada Dress, a track she debuted last month at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

Bimini marks Pride Month by reclaiming Boris Johnson’s 1998 slur with their first independent release, TANK TOP BUM BOYS.

After landing one of the Official biggest songs of 2025 with No Broke Boys, Tinashe‘s making it look Too Easy with her latest cut.

Elsewhere this week, expect big new releases from the likes of Birmingham-born duo Solar Eyes (Be Under No Illusion), A*Teens (You Got The Look), ROLE MODEL (High Hopes 3000), Tatyana Jane (KTM), Weezer ft. Wednesday (We Might as Well Be Strangers), Steve Lacy (This Feeling) and The Avalanches ft. Jamie xx (Every Single Weekend).

Now, onto albums.

Dinner is served! Niall Horan dishes up his fourth solo studio project Dinner Party. This latest course follows 2017 debut Flicker (3), 2020 LP Heartbreak Weather (1), 2023’s The Show (1) and last year’s live record The Show: Live On Tour. Could a hat-trick of solo Number 1 albums be on the cards for Niall next week?

Pink Floyd unveil 8-Tracks, a compilation featuring eight curated classics spanning 1971-1979. Available on CD, vinyl and digitally, the album includes the full version of Pigs On The Wing, originally released on the Animals eight-track cartridge and exclusive to this compilation. Last year, the rock legends secured a seventh Official Number 1 album with Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII – can they bank an eighth?

Lizzo lands her third studio set BITCH, Cry Baby serves as Vince Staples‘ seventh full-length project and Washington rockers Death Cab For Cutie are hoping for a fifth Top 40 LP with I Built You A Tower.

Rising singer-songwriter Annabel Lauren self-releases her debut album Velux. On the record, she says: “Velux brings you along on my journey of moving away from home for the first time; starting with the songs I wrote sitting under my Velux window at home, desperate to leave, and ending with the songs I wrote after moving away, feeling a bittersweet mix of homesickness and excitement for the future.

“I am so eager for you all to hear it, and I hope you find it as fun and therapeutic to listen to as I did to write it.”

With his UK arena tour set to kick off on June 9, the iconic Barry Manilow returns with 33rd studio record What A Time. Meanwhile, Roger Sanchez unleashes Spectrum, his first studio set in over 20 years.

Elsewhere, big new album releases come courtesy of Alabama-formed six-piece The Red Clay Strays (Grateful), Prospa (Free Your Mind), Evanescence (Sanctuary), Jalen Ngonda (Doctrine Of Love), horsegiirL (NATURE IS HEALING), Vybz Kartel (God & Time), DJ Seinfeld (If This Is It), Pleasure Systems (Leave It In The Sand) and Zoh Amba (Eyes Full).
