New Music from Lord of the Lost, Käärijä, Klavdia and more

Although we’re officially into the Eurovision 2026 season, it will still be some time before we hear any national final and Eurovision songs. Thankfully, the music will always continue and a number of Eurovision artists are still producing new songs for us to enjoy.

New Music Friday: 30 Hip-Hop, R&B Releases You Need On Your Playlist

Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.

Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.

New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 36 part 2

With so many new songs this week, we’ve split the roundup into two smaller articles. You can find part 1 here.

Lord of the Lost & Käärijä – “Raveyard”

It’s a Eurovision 2023 reunion. Germany’s Lord of the Lost have invited Finland’s Käärijä to join them for “Raveyard” — a fusion of rave and graveyard. The song blends techno, electronic, and metal into a goth anthem about embracing who you are, dressing in black if that’s your happy colour, and dancing like nobody’s watching.

Käärijä provides a rap during the final minute, before which Lord of the Lost’s Chris Harms brings screamo power in the chorus: “To new light and beyond / Feel the shadows’ embrace / Be whoever you want / And follow me when I say / Rave, rave, rave – with the shadows / Dance, dance, dance – with the dead.”

You can learn more about how the song came about in our interview with Chris Harms — click here.

Klavdia, Edward Maya & Valentino Indy – “Back to Blue”

Klavdia delivered a powerful ballad at Eurovision 2025. But the Greek star is ending the summer season on a more upbeat note with the track “Back to Blue.” It’s a collaboration with Romanian DJ Edward Maya plus up and coming music producer Valentino Indy. They’ve infused the dance beats with traditional instruments to give it a regional essence.

Despite the high BPM, the lyrics have a touch of sadness to them. Klavdia sings about a lost love: “And now I’m dancing with the memory of you / In a crowd but I’m alone, it’s true / Every beat just pulls me deeper through / I’m falling, falling back to blue / You’re the high I hate to lose / But I keep crashing into you.”

Victoria, MCR-T & Six Sex – “CLUBHOUSE”

Måneskin’s Victoria De Angelis is taking us to the “CLUBHOUSE.” She’s joined by MCR-T and Six Sex — all three of whom are ready to lead us through a wild night. The Eurovision 2021 champion even contributes to some of the vocals, providing the second verse: “Oh, hot, hot mess / If you want to get blessed / Come and meet us in the back / Baby, hot success.”

Sick Luke feat. BLANCO & Simba La Rue – “OGNI SBAGLIO”

This week, Italian record producer Sick Luke released the new album DOPAMINA. On the opening track, “OGNI SBAGLIO” (“Every Mistake”), you’ll hear vocals courtesy of Eurovision 2022 star BLANCO, who provides the first half of the lyrics: “I’ll pay for every mistake, I’ll pay, I’ll pay / With blood or with money / All the way, without discounts / I’ll suffer, I’ll grow, I’ll fall in love / I’ll pay for the rest of my days.”

Tunisian-Italian rapper Simba La Rue then takes over for the second half of the hip-hop song.

Little Big & Pixl Girl – “21”

Learn to count with Little Big. The chorus of their new song will take you back to school, with Russia’s Eurovision 2020 entrants managing to count to “21” on four occasions within the space of the 2:20 minute-long track. The fast-paced verses have more substance. Little Big are joined by Pixl Girl for the pop punk offering, which they hope will appease your inner teenage dirtbag:

“It’s here to heal your generational trauma. No matter if you’re a gen z or a millennial who lowkey missing your emo-punk era, this track gonna bring back your best years.”

Francesco Gabbani – “Dalla mia parte”

A love that stays, even when everything is uphill — that’s the theme of Francesco Gabbani’s latest single. “Dalla mia parte” (“By my side”) is a pop ballad that revolves around having that grounding force who will always support you no matter what. Italy’s Eurovision 2017 star sings in the chorus: “All the long-awaited days and the distances / All the dreams spent navigating sleepless nights / And time, as you see, blows away every evil too great / It’s yesterday’s dust and no place is ever so distant / If I have you by my side.”

Aminata & ZEĻĢIS – “Uz neatgriešanos”

Ahead of Aminata’s fourth studio album, set for release in October, the Latvian star has shared third pre-release single. Titled “Uz neatgriešanos” (“To the point of no return”), Aminata uses the mid-tempo percussion-driven track to suggest she and her partner escape from their surroundings and begin a new life together elsewhere: “Let’s leave everything quickly / Let’s turn a blind eye to everyone / Let’s run away / To the point of no return.”

The Eurovision 2015 alumna is joined on the track by Latvian rapper ZEĻĢIS.

Zlata Ognevich & CHEEV – “Обійми-Обійми”

Zlata Ognevich has been looking for a sweet embrace, and she’s found it with Belarusian-Ukrainian singer CHEEV. The pair have released the romantic duet “Обійми-Обійми” (“Hug-Hug”) in which they tell the story of two people who want to stay safe in each other’s arms: “Hug-hug me tightly / Hug-hug me, as if for real / You’ll never leave me, promise.”

Sirusho – “Sirt”

Choosing who to entrust your “Sirt” (“Heart”) with is a very important decision as you’re offering up one of the most vulnerable parts of yourself. This is something Sirusho is currently thinking about. Through her new emotional ballad, Armenia’s Eurovision 2008 star asks that the recipient of her heart cherish it forevermore: “Promise that you will keep it / For more than a hundred years […] Let it be yours / Keep it so it doesn’t break.”

Andrzej Piaseczny – “Zaraz Wracam”

Even non-Polish speakers can easily sing along with the main refrain of Andrzej Piaseczny’s new song. He’s taken a note from many a Eurovision entry and centred it around the repeated use of the common sound “La.”

Nevertheless, “Zaraz Wracam” (“I’ll Be Back Soon”) still has some lyrical content in it. The Eurovision 2001 act also adds: “Even if I have to go out, I’ll put it back together and come back with you / I’m coming back to you, I’m coming back soon.”

Jessy Matador – “Twerk”

Jessy Matador wants to see you “Twerk.” The French star, who took to the Eurovision stage in 2010, is giving you every opportunity to do so with his latest single. The song has an infectious beat that is tuned specifically to get that booty bouncing.

Sébastien Tellier – “Refresh”

“It’s like a fever in my head / Enjoy the new process / It’s like a fever in the air / Replay, restart, refresh / The game.”

Sébastien Tellier is hitting “Refresh” on his life and starting things over in order to confidently move forward and keep existing. France’s Eurovision 2008 representative utilises electronic production and vocoder effects, which gives the songs a sense that Tellier’s software is being reprogrammed for this new beginning. Writing about the message of the track, the artist noted on Instagram:

“While writing REFRESH, I kept thinking of the early humans — those who walked forward every day just to see what was beyond. That image has always fascinated me: moving without knowing what you’ll find, but moving anyway. Life keeps reminding me that change isn’t just an option — it’s a necessity. Every time I’ve felt stuck, I’ve learned the only way to move forward is to let go, step into the unknown and allow myself to be carried somewhere new. REFRESH is my way of honouring that instinct: a reminder that transformation is survival, and that uncertain step is what brings us closer to who we’re meant to become.”

Mia Nicolai – “chasing lullabies”

Mia Nicolai has been on a renewed path of discovery over the last two years. Now calling Los Angeles home, the Dutch singer is ready to emerge onto the music scene again with “chasing lullabies.” A dreamy indie pop song, it’s a track that lets you escape life for a moment. In the lyrics, the Eurovision 2023 act sings: “No darkness lasts forever / And even there / There are stars / I, I, I’m chasing lullabies / And that’s why I feel so alive.”

Jeangu Macrooy – “Something Better”

“Wearing your heart / Out on your sleeve / In this world / Is gonna bleed you dry / But you got to try / Got to believe in / Something better.”

The world can feel like a dark and depressing place sometimes. It can be hard to find the positivity amongst all the sad news stories. But Jeangu Macrooy is encouraging us to envision “Something Better” and to not give-up on being a hopeless romantic:

“‘Something Better’ is about searching for light in a world that feels broken. It’s about having the courage to dream of something better. It’s about hope.”

Mike Tramp – “All Burn In Hell”

Former White Lion vocalist, Mike Tramp, continues to reminisce about the good old days by re-recording the band’s hits as solo songs. Denmark’s Eurovision 1978 performer will release volume 3 of this series in a couple of weeks. For now, he’s given us one final teaser of this latest chapter by sharing “All Burn In Hell.”

PAENDA – “Good Life”

“Cause we could have a good life / Know it could be alright / I can see there’s a love / More than just enough.”

PAENDA is here to get us bouncing with her new dance-pop track “Good Life.” Austria’s Eurovision 2019 participant brings a feel good atmosphere with the song. This filters into the lyrics as well, which were inspired by the advice she got from someone else:

“So here’s the deal: I used to believe drama was part of every ‘healthy’ relationship, because I was told it adds a little spice. Until someone said: ‘You know, we can just have a good time and have a beautiful, happy relationship!’ And that’s when I realized how exhausting all those fake fights were. That’s why I wrote Good Life – maybe one day we can finally let go of the myth that love needs drama to be real.”

Hayko – “Havata”

Hayko was Armenia’s representative at Eurovision 2007. Known for his impassioned ballads, he’s staying true to that well-practiced formula for this latest release as well. “Havata” translates to English as “Believe Me.”

Which of these new songs is your favourite? Have we missed out on any? Do you have any artists you want to shout out to? Let us know in the comments.
