SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — A new outdoor entertainment area may soon be coming to South Bend.
The city’s Redevelopment Commission on Thursday approved a development agreement for the project on East LaSalle between Hill Street and Niles Avenue.
The $14 million project would be called “The Yard” and feature playgrounds, stages, and even a two-story pavilion.
The development agreement said the deadline to complete the project would be by 2029.
