The beloved toys are back in “Toy Story 5″ and this time, their greatest enemy embodies a common, modern concern for parents: screen time.
Disney Pixar’s newly released trailer shows a mysterious package arriving for Bonnie Anderson, the young sister who inherited Andy’s toys back in 2010 during “Toy Story 3.”
When the box lands in her bedroom, the collection of toys — including Woody, Buzz, Rex Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head and Jessie — gathers to stare at the package, shaking with visible horror.

The box is then opened to show a frog-framed tablet named Lilypad. The tablet immediately powers on and declares “Let’s play!” setting the stage for the toys’ next adventure against a high-tech foe.
The movie is set to release on June 19, 2026, and will include the return of voice actors Tom Hanks and Tim Allen as Woody and Buzz alongside Joan Cusack as Jessie, Blake Clark as Slinky Dog and Tony Hale as Forky, according to Variety. Greta Lee joins the cast to voice Lilypad.
