COLUMBIA, MD — On Oct. 4, Symphony Woods at Merriweather Park will transform into a winding wonderland of sights and sounds – and flavors – at the new Wanderland event.
The Hops and Harvest Festival organizers have teamed up with those behind the Baltimore Craft Beer Festival to introduce Wanderland where patrons are invited to wander along the paths sampling various beverages, enjoying live music, delving into delicious food and soaking up the sights of fall.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with five regional tasting zones featuring Maryland beer, wine and spirits. Live music will be performed at the Chrysalis Stage with performances by Ed Hough’s Dead Collective, the band Wanderland and Lee Fields. An artisan market will feature a variety of goods. There also will be WanderPods where people can take a moment and relax.
Any minors attending the event must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older. Kids younger than 12 are free. Minors age 13 to 20 must purchase a Navigator – Designated Driver pass to enter the event. No dogs are allowed unless they are service animals.
