Before she was lighting up the runway, Sunday Rose Kidman was just her mom’s little star.
The rising model, daughter of Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman and Australian country singer Keith Urban, turned 18 on Tuesday, July 7. In honor of the milestone birthday, Nicole paid tribute to her daughter in a nostalgic Instagram post.
Kidman is one of two daughters shared by Nicole Kidman and Urban, who also have Faith Margaret, 15. The “Babygirl” star, 59, has two children from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise: designer Isabella Kidman Cruise, 33, and Connor Cruise, 31, both of whom have largely stayed out of the spotlight.
Nicole Kidman shared a pair of the model’s baby photos in Tuesday’s birthday tribute. The first photo showed a smiling Nicole cradling Kidman, dressed in a frilly white blouse and matching bow, at her hip. The second image featured a candid snap of Kidman from behind, as the baby walked around in a white angel costume.
“Happy 18th my angel,” Nicole Kidman captioned the post. “You couldn’t be more loved.”

Kidman similarly paid tribute to her superstar mom in a post for Nicole’s 59th birthday on June 20. “Happy birthday mumma, no one I adore more,” Kidman wrote on Instagram alongside a black-and-white photo of the actress.
Kidman has followed in her parents’ showbiz footsteps with her burgeoning modeling career. She made her runway debut in Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week and followed it up with an appearance in Jonathan Anderson’s inaugural Dior collection for spring/summer 2026 last October.
The young fashionista, who’s fresh off the runway after walking for Dior at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, has also modeled for New York Fashion Week and graced the cover of Elle Australia in March.
“The privilege of having these experiences and meeting so many new people is so amazing, but as a teenager it’s so easy to get sucked into all of it so fast,” she told Elle Australia. “So, being able to come back [to Nashville] and keep that perspective of being back at high school keeps me grounded.”

In May, Kidman accompanied her mother Nicole to Fashion’s Biggest Night, the 2026 Met Gala. The model rocked a feathery pink strapless top, with hues of burgundy and purple, and a flowy skirt. Nicole Kidman wore a red body-hugging outfit embellished with sequins and feathers.
Amid Nicole Kidman’s divorce from Urban, which was finalized in January, the actress told USA TODAY in April that her schedule is freeing up to have some “summer fun” with her daughters.
