Nicole Kidman’s career has been thriving as her two daughters with Keith Urban have gotten older, but the country star was reportedly unsupportive as her workload increased.
“Now when they are older, [Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14] love seeing their mom work. They are very supportive of their mom,” a source told People in an article published on Wednesday, October 1. “[For Urban], it’s been the opposite.”
The source continued, “Keith was used to her being supportive of his career. He’s not been as supportive as she hoped.”
Kidman, 58, and the “You’ll Think of Me” singer, 57, married in 2006 after the two met at a gala in Los Angeles the previous year. During their time together, they welcomed daughters Sunday and Faith. The Practical Magic star was often seen by Urban’s side at events, including the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards in May when he was given the ACM Triple Crown Award.

On Monday, September 29, news broke that the longtime couple had separated.
“She didn’t want this,” a source told People at the time. “She has been fighting to save the marriage.”
The following day Kidman officially filed for divorce from Urban in Nashville, Tennessee, and cited irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by Star.
