Whether it’s a family-friendly gathering, a concert or a romantic evening with your partner at a local community theater, we have rounded up events to attend this November in the Coastal Bend.

Nov. 1

  • Día de los Muertos Festival: Head to downtown Corpus Christi for the 18th annual Día de los Muertos Festival from 3 p.m. to midnight.   • ArtWalk: Enjoy live music, local art, vendors and food trucks in downtown Corpus Christi during ArtWalk, a monthly event, from 6 to 10 p.m. Downtown bars, shops and venues keep the party going after 10 p.m. Cost: Free to attend.   • Birdies for the Blind Charity Golf Scramble: South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind will host its annual Birdies for the Blind Charity Golf Scramble at Lozano Golf Center at 4401 Old Brownsville Road. The event will feature registration and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate. Proceeds from the event will support the nonprofit’s IT Upgrade Project, which provides adaptive technology, braille keyboards and other accessible tools that empower employees who are blind or visually impaired.
