Each January the PGA Tour comes to the desert with The American Express event
The American Express golf tournament has been a fixture in the desert since 1960
Legendary country vocal group Old Dominion and award-winning rock group OneRepublic will be the musical performers at The American Express PGA Tour event in January, tournament officials have announced.
Winners of three Country Music Association and three Academy of Country Music awards for vocal group of the year, Old Dominion will perform Jan. 23 after the second round of the PGA Tour event at PGA West in La Quinta. OneRepublic, formed in 2002 and winners of five major awards through the years, will perform Jan. 24.

Last year’s acts were Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Journey and country act Little Big Town. Acts in recent years have included Darius Rucker, Gwen Stefani, Maroon 5, Train, Sammy Haggar, Bad Company and Brad Paisley.
Tickets for the two concert days are $135 each, which includes golf during the day and the concerts after play has concluded.
