On Friday, February 20, Olivia Rodrigo celebrated her 23rd birthday in Los Angeles. She was photographed heading to the venue in a perfect pink princess look, wearing Burberry’s Fitzrovia Short Trench in Begonia Pink over a strappy white dress by Blumarine made of a lacy material, detailed in pink and silver embroidery.
On her feet, she wore pink Jude’s Haze peep-toe sandals. Rodrigo carried a vintage silver Chanel Sequin CC Small Double Flap purse as well, covered in silver and pink sequins. On top of her long hair, she wore a sparkling tiara with heart-shaped loops and silver and pink stones. In the pictures, Rodrigo was accompanied by her friend, Iris Apatow.
On Saturday, Rodrigo shared a few pictures from her special evening. In the images, she had changed out of her trench and is wearing a pink feather boa. She also shared a photo of her flower collection, presumably gifts from her friends and family.
At the end of the carousel is a black-and-white clip of Rodrigo being presented with her birthday cake as her friends sang for her, closing her eyes to concentrate on her wish. It cuts off before she blew out the candles.
Last month, the star celebrated five years since the success of her song “Driver’s License,” reflecting on how so much time has passed and yet the big moment feels so close. Sharing some old pictures from that era, she wrote in the caption, “happy 5 years of ‘drivers license!!!’ looking back at these pics I feel like I look like a baby but it also feels like just yesterday lol.”
She continued, “this song has totally changed my life in ways I still can’t totally wrap my head around. I’m forever grateful for this magical chapter and I can’t wait to scream red lights stop signs with u guys at every concert I play for the rest of my life! happy birthday DL.”
