‘drop dead‘ singer Olivia Rodrigo joined KISS Breakfast with Tyler West and Chloe Burrows to chat about her new music, including her album ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love‘, as well as her love for the UK.
The singer released her third album on Friday 12th June, and will be touring her new songs later this year, coming to the UK next year on ‘The Unraveled Tour‘. And we CANNOT wait! 🙌
Olivia Rodrigo reveals fun fact
Olivia’s latest album is made up of two halves, ‘you seem pretty sad’ and ‘girl so in love’, and with a song called ‘what’s wrong with me’, Tyler just had to ask Olivia what was wrong with her! 😳
The singer admitted: “There’s quite a lot that’s wrong with me!”
So when Tyler gave TMI revealing: “I sit down the toilet too long scrolling so I get pins and needles.”
Olivia responded by saying: “Wow, that’s pretty intense!” Continuing: “OK, I’m trying to think what’s wrong with me. The thing that comes to mind is I’m actually like 60% deaf in my left ear.
“And so if you were to sit on this side of me and try to tell me a secret, I couldn’t make out what you were saying.”
The singer, who has been super successful since releasing her debut track ‘drivers license’ back in 2021, left Tyler and Chloe surprised, with Chloe admitting she had no idea, saying: “You’re a singer and you always have like headphones and pieces on like that is crazy. There you go!”

What’s on Olivia’s For You page?
Another song on Olivia’s album is called ‘maggots for brains’, to which Chloe revealed she has ‘maggots for brains’ when she doom scrolls – which is her favourite thing, going on to ask Olivia what’s on her For You page.
Responding with: “Oh my god, that’s a great question!”
Olivia went on to say: “I have some like dumb ones, like soap cutting ones, like total brains wrapped up in them. Yeah, like weird, like AI generated videos of pets. That’s exactly the way.”
She then admited she has a ‘burner account’, saying: “I do have a burner account. I don’t post anything on it, but if I ever like wanted to ‘stalk’ someone, I use my little fake account.”
Olivia loves Zoella
While at just 23-years-old, Olivia is a huge idol for many fans around the world, the singer revealed how a British YouTuber was HER big idol growing up! OG YouTuber Zoella – with her Boots haul, was a stable for Olivia, who explained: “Oh my God, I love Zoella.
“I remember watching those videos when I was younger and she would do like a Boots haul and I was like, ‘Boots must be the most expensive, incredible store in the world’. And now that I’ve been here for a while, I think that’s kind of funny.”
Olivia, who has now been to the High Street shop continued: “I love Boots, by the way, but when I was younger, I was like, this is where it all happens. All of the cool girls go to Boots and I need to get into there!” 💅
