The Rochester International Jazz Festival gets underway on Friday and the event’s ticket shop is now open at the corner of East Avenue and Gibbs Street.
Many performances during the festival are free, but some will be ticketed as usual.
Grammy-winning vocalist Gladys Knight will headline the festival, performing on June 26 at Kodak Hall at the Eastman Theatre.
That’s just one of the hundreds of live performances you’ll be able to see during the festival from June 19-27. For the full list of performances, click here.
Since 2002, organizers say the Jazz Festival has drawn more than 210,000 people to 300-plus shows at 19 venues in downtown Rochester.
