Olivia Wilde Reacts to Rumors of Screaming Match With Florence Pugh on Don’t Worry Darling Set
Olivia Wilde is sending out an invite into her private life as a mom.
The director—who shares kids Otis, 12, and Daisy, 8, with ex Jason Sudeikis—posted a time-lapse video of her son sitting in on an editing session for The Invite, marveling at the full-circle moment since she used to do the same with her filmmaker mom Leslie Cockburn.
“Found this video Otis made on my phone while we were editing the movie,” Wilde wrote on her Instagram Story June 26, explaining how she used to sit in on sessions with Cockburn, now 73, as she edited 60 Minutes segments, “and it made me cry.”
She jokingly added, “And now my kid watches me edit scenes about pegging BUT STILL it’s sweet.”
Indeed, Wilde—who also costars in The Invite alongside Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton—is very much a hands-on parent. As she explained in a recent episode of Call Her Daddy, “I’m a very present mom even when I’m not able to be consistently present.”
