“Only Murders in the Building” is one of the top shows on Hulu right now, according to the streamer’s public ranking system.
The series stars Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin as Mabel, Oliver and Charles, three strangers who share an obsession with true crime mysteries before they suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one when a grisly death occurs in their Upper West Side apartment building.
Each season revolves around a new murder mystery, and in Season 5, which premiered on Sept. 9, the crime involves the trio’s doorman, Lester (Teddy Coluca).
Also starring in Season 5 are Meryl Streep, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Renée Zellweger, Keegan-Michael Key, Beanie Feldstein, Dianne Wiest, Jermaine Fowler, Christoph Waltz and Logan Lerman. New episodes premiere on Hulu every Tuesday.

“Beauty in Black” is currently the No. 1 show on Netflix following its Season 2 premiere.
The Tyler Perry drama follows an exotic dancer named Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams), whose fate takes a turn when she crosses paths with a powerful, dysfunctional family behind a cosmetics dynasty and a ghastly trafficking scheme. Part 1 of the second season picks up with Kimmie now with the upper hand against the family, but with even more adversaries in her way.
The cast also includes Crystle Stewart, Debbi Morgan, Richard Lawson, Charles Malik Whitfield, Terrell Carter, Julian Horton, Steven G. Norfleet and Ricco Ross.
Another Netflix show currently trending among the top 10 is “Beauty and the Bester.”
The three-part docuseries, which premiered on Sept. 12, explores Dr. Nandipha Magudumana’s connection to Thabo Bester, known as the “Facebook rapist,” and his outrageous prison escape that involved faking his death. Bester lost a bid to block Netflix from releasing the series that his lawyers called defamatory, CBS News reported.
“The Girlfriend” is one of the top shows currently trending on Prime Video.
The juicy psychological thriller, based on Michelle Frances’ novel, follows a woman whose picture-perfect life starts to unravel when her son brings home a new girlfriend she suspects has ulterior motives.
Robin Wright, Olivia Cooke, Laurie Davidson, Waleed Zuaiter, Tanya Moodie and Shalom Brune-Franklin star in the cast. All six episodes of the show are streaming on Prime Video.
