As previously announced, Nero — who after “Django” appeared in over 200 movies and TV shows, working with directors such as John Huston, Luis Buñuel, Claude Chabrol, Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Quentin Tarantino — will also be celebrated on Feb. 12 by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Motion Pictures category.
“This is a particularly important milestone for Filming Italy, which has now secured its third star dedicated to an Italian artist, following the awarding of stars to Gina Lollobrigida in 2018, on the occasion of her 90th birthday, and Giancarlo Giannini in 2023,” said Italian marketing guru and festivals specialist Tiziana Rocca in a statement.
