4. Putta Palooza in downtown Melbourne
Experience downtown Melbourne one putt at a time on Saturday, May 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., starting with check-in at 10 a.m. at the Matt’s Casbah patio, 724 E. New Haven Ave., Melbourne. Participating shops and restaurants will provide creative putting greens for a day of fun and friendly competition. - Dreamland Miniature Golf: Derek Gores Gallery, 1418 Highland Ave., in the Eau Gallie Arts District (EGAD), hosts Dreamland Miniature Golf on Tuesdays through Sundays starting at 11 a.m. The 18 hole indoor putt putt course was designed by local artists and creatives. There is also a seasonal “Wonder & Wander” scavenger hunt included with each ticket. Admission starts at $20 for adults or $14 for ages four through 11. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. - ‘Create Your World’ summer art camps: Registration is open for a series of weekly “Create Your World” summer art camps at Derek Gores Gallery, 1418 Highland Ave., Melbourne. Young artists in grades Pre-K and up will be encouraged to use creative thinking skills using art techniques including paint, 3D, kinetic art, collage, printmaking, drawing and mixed media. Options are available for full day, morning and afternoon camps from June 16 through Aug. 7. The cost for each camp is $340 for full day and $185 for morning or afternoon.
