His performance set the stage for Aerosmith legends Tyler and Perry to take the spotlight.
The duo gave the audience chills with “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” as a glowing purple cross lit up behind them.
Tyler’s vocals carried the room, and as Yungblud rejoined them for the finale, the three shouted together, “Ozzy forever!”
The crowd roared, proving that the mix of generations, Aerosmith, Yungblud, and Ozzy’s spirit, was the perfect way to celebrate his life.

Before the music even began, the VMAs paid tribute with a heartwarming video message from Ozzy Osbourne’s son, Jack Osbourne, and his four daughters, Pearl, Andy, Minnie, and Maple.
Sitting with his kids, Jack shared per E! News, “I wish we could be there with you all tonight as you celebrate my dad’s amazing musical journey. I know for sure it would make him incredibly happy to see these great musicians carry on his legacy and help inspire the next generation of rockers.”
The message didn’t end with Jack. His daughters leaned in with a sweet send-off, shouting in unison, “In the words of our Papa, let’s go crazy!”

Ozzy died on July 22 in England after years of health battles.
He had lived with Parkinson’s disease and faced complications from a heart attack, leaving fans worried in his final years.
Despite the struggles, he continued to perform and even reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates and other rock greats like Metallica, Alice in Chains, and Anthrax for a star-studded farewell show just weeks before his death.
His son, Jack, spoke honestly about the mix of pain and peace the family felt after losing him.
“There was a level of like, ‘OK, he’s not suffering anymore,’” Jack explained in a video. “He’s not struggling. That is something. I wish he was still here. I wish he was still with us all, but he was having a rough go.”

“Grief is a strange thing,” she wrote on Instagram. “It sneaks up on you in waves — I will not be OK for a while — but knowing my family are not alone in our pain makes a difference.”
Kelly admitted she struggled to find the right words but wanted to thank the fans who had reached out with messages of love.
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you,” she wrote. “The love, support, and beautiful messages I’ve received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain.”

Meanwhile, Ozzy Osbourne’s kids are ensuring their father’s legacy remains intact.
Recently, Roger Waters landed in hot water after he dismissed Black Sabbath and said he “didn’t give a f-ck” about Ozzy or his music.
As The Blast reported, the Pink Floyd legend’s comments didn’t sit well with Jack Osbourne, who fired back online.
Taking to X, he blasted the rock singer, revealing that Waters had become pathetic and out of touch.
Jack also described Waters as someone who gets attention by “vomiting bullsh-t in the press.”
“My father always thought you were a c-nt — thanks for proving him right. #f-ckrogerwaters,” he concluded.
