Nearly half of the top ten best Halloween attractions in the country are in Pennsylvania, according to a new ranking from USA Today.
The publication has released their 10Best Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Theme Park Halloween Event, four of the ten are in the Keystone State.
Kennywood Park in West Mifflin landed at number 9 for their Phantom Fall Fest, with “six sinister haunts and four scare zones filled with full-on frights” along with more family-friendly attractions, according to USA Today.
At number 7 is Halloween Haunt at Dorney Park in Allentown, which USA Today said “is best left for teens and adults who don’t mind lots of scares. Otherwise, enjoy their Tricks and Treats daytime event.”
Next came Hersheypark Halloween and Dark Nights at number 6, up two spots from last year. USA Today said the “Halloween theme offers an exhilarating bump-in-the-night for families” in addition to the trick-or-treat trail and roller coasters in the dark.
Finally, claiming the number one spot on the top 10 is Hallo-Fun at Knoebels Amusement Resort, “a Halloween playground for all ages,” according to USA Today.
“Visitors can find holiday-themed treats, games, attractions, and a myriad of pumpkin-flavored foods and fall craft stations,” the website reads.
