Panera sure is, working swifter than ever to launch a brand new meal option inspired by Taylor Swift’s sourdough era—and her upcoming 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl.
The multihyphenate opened up about her adventures in sourdough during her podcast debut on beau Travis Kelce’sNew Heights, unveiling not only the countless flavor profiles she’s nailed as a bread baker, but the impressive collection of puns she’s come up with along the way, from, “It’s a loaf story baby just yes yeast,” to, “Loving him was bread.”
Now, the “bread experts” at Panera—who are clearly also hardcore Swifties—are rolling out “The Loaf Story” Meal, “reminiscent of a fresh-baked love story,” which is available on the Panera app now underneath the “Must Have Meals” section.
The brand describes it as a “love letter to bread enthusiasts everywhere,” with three different fan-favorite bread options available for purchase: a loaf of its Country Rustic Sourdough, a 2-pack of its Sourdough Bread Bowl, and/or a French Baguette.

To accompany the bread-forward options, the eatery also unveiled a series of embroidered “In My Sourdough Era” sweatshirts, available for a cheeky $13.87. Available in green, orange or tan, each option shows as already sold out as of writing, but we’ve reached out to Panera to see if a restock is in store.
Brands and other celebrities were all very quick on their feet after Swift unveiled the cover art for her upcoming record, flooding social media with memes and photos playing on the title and artwork—including Guy Fieri, who one fan said had the “best post of the year.”
