HappyNest Entertainment, the producer behind Paris Hilton’s “Paris & Pups” YouTube show, is in early development on several new projects, including a series with “Goosebumps” author R.L. Stine, an adaptation of the graphic novel “Louie and Bear,” and a franchise based on a decades-old kids’ STEM program.
Best known for “Paris & Pups” (developed in collaboration with Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media and 9 Story Media Group) and last year’s Chuck E. Cheese animated Christmas special on Amazon, kids’ and family entertainment company HappyNest has also been building partnerships with UTA, Walmart and Moonbug.
Per HappyNest’s own descriptions for its trio of new projects:
- Space Camp: HappyNest will develop a franchise and content plan based on Space Camp, the world’s oldest and largest STEM camp, rooted in NASA astronaut training. The content will speak to themes embedded in the internationally known camp related to teamwork, leadership skills, and spurring imagination and interest in space exploration.
- R.L. Stine: Following HappyNest’s investment in GoKidGo, the company will adapt R.L. Stine’s Story Club, a spooky comedic audio podcast, for publishing and additional formats. The project marks the first piece of original IP from acclaimed author R. L. Stine that did not originate as a book, extending his signature blend of suspense, humor, and kid-friendly scares from audio storytelling into publishing and beyond.
- Louie and Bear: HappyNest is expanding the popular graphic novel series Louie and Bear in the Land of Anything Goes into a character-driven kids and family franchise, with planned expansion into digital and gaming platforms.
