Paul Thomas Anderson made history Sunday at the 98th Oscars, joining the exclusive club of directors who have won three or more Oscars for a single movie. Following the One Battle After Another win for Best Picture, Anderson had three trophies: for Adapted Screenplay, Director and as a producer of the Warner Bros movie.
Anderson is the 13th person to accomplish this milestone with Sean Baker joining the club last year after winning four Oscars for Anora (Baker’s fourth award was for Film Editing).
