Peloton has acknowledged, and is in the process of fixing, a bug related to the ability to “Walk” while using Peloton Entertainment.
Peloton Entertainment allows members to watch TV shows & movies while working out. Current choices include streaming platforms like Disney+, Netflix, DirecTV, Youtube, Youtube TV & more.
On the Peloton Tread & Tread+, the workouts will default as a run – but you have the option to select walk from a dropdown to have it record as a Walking class type instead.
Over the past few weeks, members have been reporting that the option to select “Walk” as the class type was no longer available in Entertainment.
This week, Peloton has officially created a bug report for this, and stated that a fix is on the way. They say:
“A fix will be released for this starting on 10/20 and be fully released by EOD 10/22. We apologize for this inconvenience.”
This fix comes as Peloton has also had a bug related to Peloton Lanebreak for several months – which is being fixed next week as well.
So for members who have been missing the ability to record walks while using Peloton Entertainment – this should be fixed by the middle of next week.
