Davidson hinted they were thinking about marriage as well, telling Us Weekly, “Yeah, we’ll do all that stuff.”
Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt became parents a month ago, but in a joint Us Weekly interview, the couple admitted they are already making plans to have a second child. Davidson was also asked if the pair “will maybe get married or have enough kids for a soccer team.”
The comedian replied, “Yeah, we’ll do all that stuff.”
The couple spoke in detail about how surprised they are at their own eagerness to give their daughter, Scottie Rose, a little brother or sister.
“I didn’t think I would already think about having another one,” Hewitt said. “The idea of that sounds absolutely insane right now…. The process of giving birth is so insane, but so empowering once it happens. Just having this little thing, I really can’t explain how incredible the whole thing is.”
She added, “The idea of making another one and making a sibling is something I’ve already been like, ‘I want to do it again.’ They’re so tiny when they come out, and they grow so fast. It’s crazy.”
Davidson noted they are still focused on the present, though: “I think, obviously, we talk about next steps and all that stuff,” he began. “But right now, we’re just, like, let’s get this routine with this baby down.” He added, “The first three months of the baby is, you’re just keeping her alive. We’re already, like, ‘We’re gonna have another one.’”
The pair went public with their relationship last March. They announced Hewitt’s pregnancy in July, with a source telling Entertainment Tonight on July 16 that it was a dream realized for Hewitt. “Elsie has been wanting to start a family for quite some time and is happy to be doing it with Pete,” the insider said. “She’s always wanted to be a mom.”
