Pierce Brosnan had a special guest by his side at the New York City screening of his latest film, The Thursday Murder Club — his lookalike son Dylan.
On Thursday, August 14, the 72-year-old actor attended a pre-reception at the Plaza Hotel before heading to The Paris Theater for the event, posing proudly alongside Dylan, 28, on the red carpet. The actor wore a matching cream blazer and shirt paired with a polka dot tie and black trousers, while Dylan opted for a gray plaid suit with high-waisted trousers and a striped tie.
The screening came just weeks after Brosnan shared the screen with both Dylan and his younger son Paris, 24, in The Unholy Trinity. Calling it a “gift of time and memory,” Brosnan told PEOPLE he cherishes working with his children after years of having them visit his sets. “We always stayed together tight as a family unit during the days of James Bond, and now of course, as they’re older, here to be able to make movies with Dad.” And it looks like Brosnan would love to share the screen with his sons again. “I would jump into the trenches any day of the week with you Brosnan men,” he told them.
The Out-Laws alum shares Dylan and Paris, 24, with wife Keely Shay Smith. He is also father to adopted children Charlotte and Christopher, 52, from his ex-wife Cassandra Harris‘s first marriage. He also shares a son named Sean, 41, with Harris.
As for The Thursday Murder Club, Brosnan stars in the highly anticipated Netflix adaptation of Richard Osman’s bestselling novel, and appears alongside Helen Mirren, Ben Kingsley, and Celia Imrie.
Speaking after the screening, Brosnan reflected on the joy of working with such an acclaimed cast according to PEOPLE. “To be in the company of Sir Ben and Dame Helen was powerful, really powerful, but so easy because they’re so gifted, and so beautiful, great human beings to be with,” he said. “We all became pals… it was glorious.”
The Thursday Murder Club premieres August 28 on Netflix.
