Calling all readers: the annual Manhattan Public Library Book Sale is this weekend.
Friends of the library can shop the sale early, starting Friday evening. Those who are wanting to become a donor or wanting to shop early can become a friend of the library at the door.
The general public can start shopping through the selection of books and more around 10 a.m. Saturday morning and through the afternoon. The sale starts up again Sunday afternoon, running from 1 to 4 p.m. Pay with cash, checks or cards. Proceeds benefit the library, including programs and book purchases.
