Police called to Frankie Valli’s home over reported domestic dispute

Police responded to a call from Frankie Valli’s Los Angeles home over the weekend.

Around 5:05 p.m. on Sunday night, Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a radio call of a burglary alarm on Valli’s block in the Encino neighborhood, a representative for the LAPD tells Entertainment Weekly. However, officers found no evidence of a crime and no reports of injuries on the scene.

PEOPLE reported that the 911 call was made to report Valli’s 38-year-old son Francesco, and that officers received a report that someone allegedly violated a restraining order related to a domestic dispute. Dispatch audio obtained by the outlet stated that there was a report of a 38-year-old man “banging on the door demanding entry” to the musician’s home.

When reached for comment, a representative for Valli told EW, “It was a private family matter and it was resolved before the authorities arrived.”

The singer’s younger son, Emilio, requested a restraining order against Francesco in 2024, alleging that his elder brother “repeatedly physically threatened to harm or kill” both Emilio and Frankie, per PEOPLE. The restraining order was granted on a temporary basis, legally barring Francesco from contacting Frankie and Emilio and forcing him to stay 100 yards away from their homes and workplaces. A few weeks later, a judge extended the order to last until April 2027.

Francesco has a few screen credits to his name, including supporting turns on an episode of Full House and in the movies The House Bunny and Reach Me.

Francesco is one of three sons that the “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” singer shares with his third wife, Randy Clohessy, whom he divorced in 2004. He also has three daughters, Celia, Antonia, and Francine, with his first wife, Mary Mandel. Celia and Francine both died in separate incidents in 1980.

Frankie Valli is scheduled to perform a handful of concerts with the Four Seasons this year, including summer shows in Michigan, Arizona, California, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The last show listed on his website will take place at the Chevalier Theatre in Medford, Mass., on Oct. 25.
