Authorities in California are searching for a woman who was reported missing Wednesday night after failing to return from a solo hiking excursion.
The Santa Rosa Police Department said 47-year-old Sunshine Borjas was reported missing Wednesday night. She left home at around 1:30 p.m. and drove to Bodega Head on the coast to go hiking, and she was believed to be alone.
Police found Borjas’ vehicle parked at Bodega Head in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Borjas is described as standing about five feet, five inches tall and weighing about 155 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey shirt, grey leggings, and black sneakers.
Police are asking anyone with information or who sees Borjas to contact local law enforcement or the Santa Rosa Police Department Non-Emergency Dispatch line at 707-528-5222.
