Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been stripped of his HRH style and prince title, but some are calling for the royal to be punished even more.
Royal watchers have suggested Andrew should be removed from the line of succession while others argue he has been punished enough.
Asked if Andrew’s punishments have gone far enough, veteran royal commentator David Dimbleby quipped: “What, execute him?”
But some have suggested the former Duke of York should be removed from the line of succession, including the Express’s North West Correspondent who argued King Charles must instigate it “without delay”.

King Charles officially stripped his brother of his HRH style and prince title earlier this month. The move came amid growing controversy over Andrew’s links to the paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew has also been removed from the Roll of the Peerage as the Duke of York. He is set to move from his home in Royal Lodge, Windsor Great Park, some time in the new year to the King’s private Sandringham estate as part of his internal exile.
Buckingham Palace will hope the action taken draws a line under the scandal which has dogged Andrew. But questions remain over allegations by the late Virginia Giuffre that she was sexually abused as a teenager by the former prince.
US legislators have criticised Andrew for what they describe as “silence” amid their probe into Epstein.
Andrew paid millions to settle a US civil sexual assault case with her in 2022, despite insisting he had never met her. He repeatedly and strenuously denied Ms Giuffre’s allegations.
