Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has officially evicted Royal Lodge and is now living on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. Andrew is reported to have been driven 132 miles to Sandringham in darkness on Monday evening to avoid being seen.
He also spent time at Wood Farm Cottage where he will stay temporarily. The former Duke of York is understood to have been kicked out earlier than planned as King Charles has become increasingly concerned about the barrage of new Epstein revelations, which Andrew denies.
According to The Sun, a friend said: “He had planned to cling on at Royal Lodge a little longer but with the latest batch of Epstein files it was made clear to him that it was time to go.
“Leaving was so humiliating for him that he chose to do it under the cover of darkness.
“He didn’t want to have a big emotional goodbye even though Royal Lodge is a place where he had so many family memories.”
The King’s younger brother, who will celebrate his birthday on February 19, appeared in the newly released Epstein files last Friday.
