- Polygonia, Dycide and FTP Doctor have collaborated on a new piece of music software, Inspect.
Set to debut on October 21st, Inspect is a customizable audio analysis suite that will be compatible with all pro audio drivers, per a release. The debut also marks the launch of the trio’s new Munich-based company, DSP Dealers.
Inspect features an array of tools, including a spectrum analyser, oscilloscope, spectrogram, level meter, goniometer, correlation meter, loudness meter and numeric meter. Its modular design allows users to tailor their workspaces for a variety of different projects, including music production, mastering, live mixing, recording and broadcasting. It can also be switched to a Tiny Mode setting, for anyone working off a smaller screen.
Polygonia, Dycide and FTP Doctor will officially debut the project with a launch event on October 24th at ADE. Set to take place at Bar San Francisco, the event will kick off with a demonstration and Q&A from noon to 2 PM. That session will be followed by two workshops: one on mixing and live sound with FTP Doctor from 2 PM to 3 PM, and one on creative production with Polygonia from 3 PM to 4 PM.
