Britney Spears was back on Instagram on August 13 to share some more dance videos with her 41 million fans. In her latest post, Spears, 43, wore a sparkly gold mini dress that featured an open chest.
As she danced around, the fabric slipped, causing her to spill out of the opening. However, before posting the video online, Spears was able to cover up with the use of emoji.
Spears didn’t caption the video, but let the dancing speak for itself. She moved around a small, dimly lit area, bending over and flipping her hair around and appearing to mouth the words to Janet Jackson’s “Any Time Any Place.” She cut up the video so it was connected by segments rather than one fluid dance routine, which has become her style.
The video was one of two that Spears posted on Wednesday night. In the video before, Spears wore a red dress with a low back and danced to Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game.”
Both posts come after rumors about Spears making her musical comeback at the MTV Video Music Awards. Despite lots of online chatter about the superstar performing during this year’s show, People magazine was able to confirm that there wasn’t even talk of anything close.
“She was never due to perform,” a source told the outlet.
Spears has been pretty adamant about not performing and has seemingly channeled her creativity in other ways. For example, she recently shared that is “writing two fiction novels.” Additionally, she’s been teasing a jewelry line called B Tiny, which she said is “coming soon.”
